Our Tale

Shortly after the Bull Shoals Dam was dedicated by President Truman in 1952, Driftwood Resort was constructed in 1953.  It represents a a step back in time and was built from the timber of an Iowa water tower.  Our 4 buildings consists of the 2 pack, 3 pack, 6 pack and office/rooms and consists of 13 rooms.  Our views are peek a boo and seasonal.  Some comments we’ve had is that the views are beautiful.  Although it remains rustic with a retro vibe and modern conveniences we offer first class service.  With small town charm, it is peacefully nestled in beautifully wooded acreage so you can flee the busy cities and hotels and be in tranquility. After 69 years it is still a favorite destination for bass and trout anglers of all ages, family reunions, couples and romantic getaways, corporate retreats,  group holidays, fishing tournaments, sightseeing or just relaxation on our resort property. Bring your family and friends for that relaxing and fun vacation getaway you always wished for.
